About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of all OneSelf products and services, including the OneSelf membership platform, the OneSelf Learning Lounge, OneSelf Live, blood biomarker testing services, the supplement builder, bespoke formulation pathways, and Ask OneSelf, operated by OneSelf Health Pty Ltd ("OneSelf", "we", "us").
By accessing or using any OneSelf product or service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use OneSelf services.
This document is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and must not be published in its current form. All wording must be reviewed and approved before public release. Items marked [Subject to legal review] require particular attention.
Your membership fee covers platform access and, at Act tier, your practitioner relationship. Blood tests and bespoke formulations are separate charges, not included in your membership. Act tier operates as a 90-day programme aligned to your formulation cycle. See §4, §5 and §6 for full detail.
Membership tiers
OneSelf operates across three membership tiers. Each tier provides a distinct level of access, intelligence and practitioner involvement.
| Tier | What it includes | Commitment |
|---|---|---|
| Explore · Free | Platform access, Learning Lounge, Ask OneSelf, supplement builder (educational), biomarker panel library (self-select), OneSelf Live. | None. Cancel or upgrade at any time. |
| Understand · Plus | Everything in Explore, plus OneSelf Intelligence™ signal picture, cross-signal pattern recognition, contextualised biomarker interpretation, signal history and trend tracking, priority Live access. | None. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. |
| Act · Pro | Everything in Understand, plus a dedicated qualified practitioner, practitioner-reviewed protocols (lifestyle, nutrition, supplements), bespoke formulation pathway (where available), testing recommendations and cadence guidance, scheduled practitioner check-ins, and reaction management support. | 90-day initial programme commitment. See §6. |
Explore and Understand tiers are genuinely flexible — there is no minimum commitment, and you may change tier at any time. Act tier operates differently due to the practitioner relationship and formulation manufacturing cycle. See §6 for full detail.
What your membership covers
Your monthly membership fee covers access to the OneSelf platform and the services described for your tier in §2. Specifically:
Full platform access at no cost. No credit card required. Includes all features listed under the Explore tier in §2.
Platform access with OneSelf Intelligence™ signal interpretation. Includes all features listed under the Understand tier in §2. Blood biomarker testing is available at Understand tier but is charged separately — see §4.
Your Act membership fee covers your practitioner relationship, including:
- Practitioner onboarding, including review of your full signal picture at programme commencement.
- Protocol review and issuance — practitioner-reviewed recommendations on lifestyle, nutrition and supplements, specific to your signal picture.
- Formulation review at 90 days, or earlier when new results are available or clinically indicated.
- Practitioner review if you experience a reaction to any formulation or protocol component.
- Scheduled practitioner check-ins as part of your programme.
Blood tests and bespoke formulations are charged separately and are not included in your Act membership fee. See §4 and §5.
Blood testing — separate billing
Blood biomarker testing is available to members at Understand and Act tiers. Testing is not included in your membership fee and is charged separately at the point of order.
- You select and pay for blood test panels directly at checkout, separately from your membership.
- At Act tier, your practitioner may recommend specific panels based on your signal picture. You are not obligated to order any test your practitioner recommends — the decision remains yours.
- Test costs vary by panel. Current pricing is displayed at the point of order and may change.
- Blood tests are conducted by accredited partner laboratories. OneSelf does not operate its own laboratory facilities.
Blood biomarker testing through OneSelf is currently available in Australia. Availability may vary by state, territory or postcode. Testing availability is confirmed at checkout prior to purchase.
Blood tests are a separate cost to your membership. Your membership does not include any allocation of free or discounted tests. Test results are returned to your OneSelf portal and, at Act tier, made available to your assigned practitioner.
Bespoke formulations — separate billing
Where available, Act tier members may access a bespoke formulation pathway. Bespoke formulations are charged separately and are not included in your Act membership fee.
A bespoke formulation is a precision supplement protocol designed specifically for you by your assigned practitioner, based on your OneSelf signal picture. Formulations may be dispensed in one or more of the following forms, determined by your practitioner according to your biology, practical needs and cost efficiency:
- Bespoke formula in capsule or powder form.
- Liquid herb tinctures.
- Clinical range supplements.
The form of delivery is chosen by your practitioner in your favour — based on what is most appropriate for you clinically and practically, not on commercial considerations.
- Formulations are manufactured in 90-day batches and charged per batch at the point of order.
- The cost of your formulation batch is separate from and in addition to your monthly Act membership fee.
- Formulation pricing depends on the specific ingredients, doses and delivery form determined by your practitioner. Pricing is confirmed before manufacture commences.
- You must confirm and pay for your formulation before it is manufactured. No formulation will be produced without your explicit approval and payment.
Bespoke formulations are subject to practitioner approval, member suitability, manufacturing availability, and applicable regulatory requirements. Not all members will be offered or suited to a bespoke formulation. Availability may vary by location.
Your bespoke formulation is designed and endorsed by your practitioner within the context of your active Act membership. Your formulation is not transferable to another provider and cannot be updated or re-endorsed without an active Act subscription. See §6 and §7 for what happens when you change tier.
Act tier — the 90-day programme
Act tier is structured as a 90-day programme. This is not an arbitrary commercial term. It reflects two operational realities: bespoke formulations are manufactured in 90-day batches, and meaningful biological change requires a minimum programme window to yield assessable results.
- When you upgrade to Act tier, you are committing to a minimum initial 90-day membership period.
- This commitment applies to your membership fee only. Your formulation batch (if ordered) is a separate charge paid upfront at the time of manufacture — it is not affected by the membership commitment.
- You will be clearly informed of this commitment at the point of upgrade, before payment is processed.
- You will be asked to confirm your understanding of the 90-day commitment before your upgrade is completed.
Following your initial 90-day period, your Act membership continues on a month-to-month basis unless you notify us of your intention to change tier. At the 90-day mark, your practitioner will conduct a programme review and, if clinically indicated, may update your protocol and formulation for the next cycle.
If you have a medical reason to end your Act membership before the 90-day period concludes — for example, an adverse reaction or a change in health status — you may apply for an early exit. Early exits require practitioner sign-off confirming the medical basis for the request. [Subject to legal review before publication.] Standard consumer rights and cooling-off periods apply regardless of this policy.
Act tier involves a 90-day initial programme commitment. Your formulation is compounded to your specific signal picture and cannot be reversed or returned once manufactured. Please ensure you have read and understood §5 and §7 before upgrading.
Changing or ending your tier
Members on Explore or Understand tiers may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time. There is no minimum commitment at these tiers. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
You may request a downgrade from Act tier at any time after your initial 90-day commitment period has been completed. The following applies when you downgrade from Act:
- Your practitioner relationship ends. Your practitioner will no longer have access to update, endorse or manage your protocol.
- Your existing formulation — if you have one — continues until your current 90-day batch is exhausted. You paid for this batch separately and it remains yours. However, it will no longer be actively monitored or endorsed by a practitioner.
- Your protocol is considered expired for clinical purposes. Any formulation you continue to take following downgrade is taken at your own discretion, without active practitioner oversight.
- To re-activate a practitioner-endorsed protocol, you will need to re-enter Act tier and undergo a new programme assessment. Your previous protocol will be reviewed against your current signal picture before being re-issued.
We will not re-issue a protocol from a prior Act period without a current practitioner review. Biology changes — a protocol that was right three months ago may not be right today.
Requests to downgrade from Act during your initial 90-day commitment period will be reviewed individually. A downgrade during this period is not available as a standard option but may be accommodated in exceptional circumstances, including medical necessity. [Subject to legal review.]
The continuity of your Act membership is clinically meaningful — not just commercially. Your formulation was designed for your biology at a specific point in time, under practitioner endorsement. Without ongoing oversight, that endorsement lapses. We frame this as a clinical truth, not a commercial restriction.
Practitioner governance
At Act tier, a dedicated qualified practitioner is assigned to your account. All protocols, formulations and wellness guidance issued at Act tier are reviewed by this practitioner before reaching you.
- Practitioners review your full signal picture before issuing any protocol or formulation.
- Practitioners determine the form of any bespoke formulation (capsule, powder, tincture, clinical range supplement) based on clinical appropriateness, practicality and cost efficiency in your favour.
- Practitioners are available for scheduled check-ins and for review if you experience a reaction.
- Practitioner involvement is contingent on an active Act membership. Downgrading ends the practitioner relationship and the endorsement of any existing protocol.
OneSelf practitioners provide wellness guidance reviewed within their professional scope. This is not a clinical consultation, a patient–practitioner relationship in the medical or legal sense, or a substitute for the care of your general practitioner or specialist. See the Medical Disclaimer and Practitioner Terms for full detail. [Practitioner Terms subject to publication separately.]
When a member's Act subscription ends — whether through downgrade, cancellation or non-renewal — the member's assigned practitioner is notified. The practitioner will no longer access, update or endorse the member's protocol following this notification.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded by contract.
In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, the Act tier 90-day initial commitment constitutes a minimum-term contract. This is disclosed clearly before purchase at the tier selection stage and confirmed at checkout. By completing your upgrade to Act tier, you acknowledge that you have been informed of and agree to this minimum term.
Applicable cooling-off rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to your membership. Where a cooling-off right applies, OneSelf will honour it in full. Note that bespoke formulations that have already been manufactured may not be eligible for return or refund if manufacture has commenced at your direction. See the Returns & Refunds policy for detail. [Subject to legal review.]
If you have a complaint about any aspect of your OneSelf membership, billing or service, please contact us using the details in §11. OneSelf will respond to all complaints within a reasonable timeframe and will work in good faith to resolve them.
Changes to these terms
OneSelf reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Where changes are material — particularly changes affecting billing, commitment periods or tier inclusions — OneSelf will provide reasonable advance notice to affected members via the member platform or email before changes take effect.
Your continued use of OneSelf products and services following the publication of updated terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel your membership before the change takes effect without penalty.
